splinted "enemies" now, alright, since we are Alumni of an accredited school of higher learning afterall!! I say NOT to simply tolerate anybody unlike you, but to really love them for the mere sake of the good old days, ok!!
Otherwise you have not outgrown your college days at all :( When real strangers jump out from behind the

I always loved the ride around it bypassing those
old houses/trailers and all before one reached the numerous little spots to park, if not already another AU fraction had camped out there by now :)

Religion Of Survival vs. Eternal Marriage
Was AU rather a place to get ready to preach re-captured values to a dying secular world (
in vain by definition) or to meet your spouse as merritt for strong personal church attendance? Does hard work get you further, the way of the diploma, or the path of knowing the right gang in power.. Would it not be perfect when two workers found one another and then presented each other as a merritt for the other while keeping both jobs :) Religion is not the survival kit in the world nor is the family the stronghold to overcome spiritual unemployment! Hence AU was what you brought to it and what it made out of you - Personal Accountibility, no magic concering the happy life, which is far more than an
afterwork party, and fulfillment at the job is more than being a good daddy.
Can Alumni be Working Together?
The "church" failed in employing a fellow believer, since that mixed business with religion in their view. Now, what about AU Alumni, could one be working for another?! Partnership is the first base of general friendship, what even the red light world is teaching oneself. If you cannot trust anybody with money how much less with your entire life as a friend. Male-female relations are the exception to the rule here, since they rather start with friendship status and have to find a way to handle everyday life especially in regard to MUTUAL breadwinning and income spending.
In simple terms, if you cannot work with your spouse, how can you have any relationship with him, that is for both the link between church and state if you will..
To reach equality means uniting all but eachother to oneness. Now, was AU such a place, then you can work amongst eachother and be friends, too!

As an
random example afterall one can come to the conclusion that AC was all but a product of the POST Great War Cold War between Russia & The USA.. Facing an atomic threat that was caused by the unsatisfactory "end"-solution of Hitler's Berlin, people were in need of advertisement for a way out alive. The nation trusting in G-d (on its coins at least) was preached the tough Jesus (like thru HWA) in times requiring firm personal conduct in order to abstain from freaking out by the idea of a new subsequent now even NUCLEAR holocaust amongst the former AntiGerman allies..
I mean if we look for example (see random example link above) at how the United Church split from the World-wide, it is the very same how HWA did it from his former group. Rather human reasoning to cope with secular fears than a divinely inspired move like consolidating AC campuses?
At times I wounder what Jesus THINKS how we relate to G-d and His Father :) Day in and day out we draw conclusions from our prayers that tell us that we have a presonal relationship with G-d without Jesus himself! And if we have one in Jesus like the New WCG, then we do not use it by yielding to G-d Father as Christ LORD Jesus is setting us a role model.. (even as in the UCG for example)
Therefore the question about the correct church splinter is as useful as a debate about what is the better AC campus :)
Thus do "we" cope with the world, that is the determining factor in reality, but for that one needed to dare to be in it first of all, instead of making it a paradise of blind zealots between the mega bullies of imperial capitalism and idolitary communism!!!
Hence is Ambassador not the church gateway to the world, if you will? Or merely a Trojan Horse to secularize the church at large?! A college at an Embassy :) I guess this sums it up pretty good.. Or an embassy at an college 4u?!)

In hindsight would you apply and go there again? For the sake of re-capturing true values one never had before, or because of people you had met there, etc. What would you make differently, what stayed the same.. Would you apply for student positions or rather take a more easier approach to grades and higher learning? Would you rather hang out with another crowd or move there only offcampus with your very own car?! Was working and studying a problem or the only way to handle the entire responibilities... How was your contact with Americans & internationals, was there a good mix?!
