From "Wintendos" 2 Linux, That's You
Tired of all the virus stuff, the Windows in general? Here is a good way to learn how really EASY it is to change to Linux (www.opensuse.org), and this OS is for free.. Read more and dare to ask how you control the PC again.. (You paid only manuals, unless you want not to read free ebooks in pdf. format already on CD/DVD...) It is available in basically any tongue 4 you!!
Nutshell version:There are basically 2 ways to start off with Linux: You obtain a Live-CD for free (downloading the .iso image and burn it in Windows onto CD/DVD 2 reboot the machine with it or have it shipped to you unless your local computer mags do not regularily carry the latest version for free inside anyhow) This way, your Windows hard drive and ALL settings are never touched.. So you can play around withOUT any harm... The other way is, that you install openSuse.org Linux OSS 10 by itself, when it just cuts off some of your windows partition to have the PC in the future either load Windows or Linux out of a simply graphical booting menu... Done.

The Hall Of Fame Of The Dining Hall
What "famous" stuff occured during the food breaks in the dining hall, do you recall! One day, it was Donald Ward, the boss, asking me if he could set specifically next to me, we had not met before, on a crowded table... It lead to the famous "John The Baptist" quote in the forum/assembly afterwards :)
What I miss about Tyler, TX & Longview, TX
Here is a place for some great memories to share: Have you gone to the same places like the malls there, the movie places, the olive garden, etc?! What was a good location to forget about the campus routine..
I recall one day during "forum" having been in this little Mexican Place next to Subway and Pizza Hut half way 2 Longview, and there "we" met even other teachers "skipping..." That was so funny, table on table so-to-speak :)
How do you rate TODAY the 1 dollar burger days in and around Big Sandy! Half of the school was always there, crazy.

What was the name of this group that bought Big Sandy from us? Has anybody ever been there visitng them to say how they modified and run the place.. What about Big Sandy itself? Abandoned or now filled with "those" new owners? How is the Taco Bell Outpost doing??
